The Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Assn. is holding its futurity for 3-year-olds and the gelding stakes for 3- and 5-year-olds today through Sunday at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank.

Estimated purses and awards for the events total $550,000.

Preliminary rounds run today through Thursday, starting at 8 a.m. each day. The gelding stakes finals will be held Friday at 6 p.m., with the futurity semifinals at 7 p.m. Saturday and the finals at 11 a.m. Sunday.

The gelding stakes sale of 100 cutting breed horses will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.
