Oregon Sweeps Pac-10 Cross-Country Titles

STANFORD — Oregon won the men’s and women’s individual and team titles Monday in the Pacific 10 cross-country championships.
Oregon men placed five runners in the top 12 to finish 30 points ahead of runner-up Stanford, 31-61. Junior Brad Hudson won the men’s title with a time of 30 minutes 47 seconds for the 10,000-meter course.
Oregon’s Liz Wilson and Penny Graves finished 1-2 to lead the Ducks to a 43-75 victory over UCLA in the women’s race. Wilson’s time over 5,000 meters was 17:06.
UCLA finished third in the men’s division with 104 points, followed by Washington, 106; Arizona, 133; Washington State, 144; California, 156; USC, 184; Arizona State, 237, and Oregon State, 259.
In the women’s race, California was third with 77 points, followed by Washington State, 114; Arizona, 120; Washington, 143; Stanford, 155; Arizona State, 178, and Oregon State, 272.
