THE COLLEGES : Volleyball Roundup : Cal Poly Pomona Sweeps Chapman
Cal Poly Pomona swept Chapman, 15-10, 15-7, 15-5, Friday night in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. women’s volleyball match at Pomona.
Pomona (12-8, 3-5) was led by Paula Tezak, a La Habra High School graduate, with 13 kills.
Chapman is 20-11 overall and 3-4 in conference.
In nonconference women’s volleyball:
UC Irvine 3, US International 0--Kris Roberts had 12 kills and 3 blocks as the Anteaters swept, 15-12, 15-9, 15-7. Irvine is 14-9.
