Roundup : Sunny Hills Wins in Water Polo, 9-6

Jason Klingsberg scored 5 goals to lead Sunny Hills High School to a 9-6 victory over Newport Harbor Saturday in a nonleague water polo match at Newport Harbor.
Sunny Hills (16-2), ranked second in the Southern Section 4-A, outscored Newport Harbor, 4-1, in the second quarter to take a 6-3 halftime lead. Klingsberg had 3 goals in the second quarter.
Mark Kuh had 2 goals for Sunny Hills.
In the Brentwood volleyball tournament:
Paraclete defeated Orange Lutheran, 15-12, in the quarterfinals. Orange Lutheran reached the quarterfinals by finishing 6-4 in pool play, sweeping Whittier Christian, 11-9, 11-8, and Mammoth, 12-10, 11-8, and splitting with University (Los Angeles), 10-12, 11-9, and Village Christian, 11-9, 4-11. Flintridge Sacred Heart swept Orange Lutheran, 11-9, 11-4.
In the Marlborough volleyball tournament:
Irvine defeated Gahr, 15-3, in the championship game at Marlborough High in Hollywood.
