Street Revitalization Plans

Strategies for the revitalization of Hawthorne Boulevard will be discussed at a joint meeting of the Lawndale City Council and Planning Commission at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 14717 Burin Ave.
Among questions to be discussed are possible uses of the median strip in the boulevard, which now is set aside for parking but often is nearly vacant.
