Santa Monica : Candidate Forums Slated
The League of Women Voters will sponsor two forums tonight for candidates in Santa Monica’s City Council and Rent Control Board races, which will be decided in the Nov. 8 election.
Three people running for two seats on the Rent Control Board will be featured in the first debate at 6:15 p.m. in the auditorium of the main branch of the Santa Monica Public Library, 1343 6th St.
Thirteen candidates for four seats on the City Council are expected to appear at a second forum, from 7 to 9 at the same location.
Admission is free.
