A pedestrian crossing Rosecrans Street died after being hit by a car Tuesday, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
Pedro Finete, 73, of San Diego was struck at about 6:30 p.m. by a car driven by Barbara Graham, also of San Diego. Graham was not cited.
Finete was taken by ambulance to UC San Diego Medical Center with broken bones and internal injuries, police spokesman Bill Robinson said. He died at 9:23 p.m., a deputy coroner said.
Police found no alcohol in the blood of Graham. She was not hurt in the crash.
The investigation is continuing, police said.
