‘Crossing the Line’
The U.S. Border Patrol agent entering La Purisima Catholic Church in pursuit of fleeing illegal aliens was entirely within his rights (Part I, Sept. 28). No church of any denomination is above U.S. laws which represent all of us. Freedom of religion exists in this country because of these protective laws. For one particular religion to harbor foreign lawbreakers against the laws of its own country is abhorrent.
