Irvine Man, Friend Die Climbing

FRANCONIA, N.H. — Two Dartmouth College graduate students were killed in a fall while rock climbing on the Cannon Mountain Cliffs at Franconia Notch State Park, state police said today.
The victims were identified as Joel Sunshine, 24, of Irvine, Calif., and Marc Fragge, 23, of Ft. Mitchell, Ky. A Dartmouth spokesman said both were working on advanced degrees in engineering. He could not say if they were experienced climbers.
