Sheriff’s homicide detectives were investigating the shooting death of a 19-year old laborer Saturday night in the 2500 block of East Vista Way.
The victim, Sergio Puentes Lopez of Tijuana, was crossing a field with friends at about 7 p.m. when he was shot, according to Sgt. Manny Castillo.
There were no known suspects and no known motive, Castillo said.
