A man who stepped in front of a train in Leucadia Wednesday night apparently committed suicide, police said Thursday. Homicide investigators have concluded that the victim intentionally put himself in the path of the train at 7:30 p.m., near the 100 block of Hillcrest Drive, a sheriff’s spokesman said. The victim, who had not been identified by Thursday night, was described as a white male in his 30s, with light brown hair and blue eyes.
