Five Girls on Sidewalk Killed by Speeding Car

PULASKI, Wis. — A speeding car hit a utility pole Friday night and careened into a group of five girls on a sidewalk, killing all of them, authorities said.
The car hit a tree after striking the girls, said Brown County Sheriff’s Lt. George Weitezel. He said the driver of the car and his sister were taken to the hospital and were believed to be in serious condition.
Four of the girls were dead at the scene and the fifth was pronounced dead at a hospital, Weitezel said. They were believed to be between the ages of 12 and 14.
Pulaski is a village of 1,875 located about 20 miles northwest of Green Bay.
