NRA in the Cross Hairs

In response to the Art Buchwald column, “Shooting Down the Brady Amendment” (Sept. 22), I agree 100% with his stand on this subject.
We must have gun control and I think I have come up with a solution to the problem. The National Rifle Assn. is very powerful and I believe they should be given more power. They (the NRA) should be the ones to distribute guns to whomever they choose. If they make a wrong decision, they (the NRA) should be held responsible. In other words, if a gun gets into the hands of a killer, the NRA president or vice president or member of the board should be held responsible and go to prison for the bad decision.
Would this limit distribution of guns? I believe it would. Let us bring this powerful lobby to task.
