CSDH Defeats Cal State L.A., 2-1, in Men’s Soccer
Host Cal State Dominguez Hills wrapped up its preseason men’s soccer season Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Cal State Los Angeles.
The Toros (6-3) scored on a pair of headers. Willie Ayala tied the score at 1-1 with seven minutes remaining in the first half off a corner kick from Pat Fitzgerald. Mark Merino got the other score off a pass from Mark Lincir with only one minute gone in the second half.
Cal State L.A., a Division I school in soccer, fell to 3-8.
