Besieged Settler Kills Arab

HALHOUL, Occupied West Bank — A Jewish settler opened fire today on Palestinians who stoned his car in the West Bank and killed one and wounded three, Arab hospital officials and witnesses said. According to Arab witnesses, Rabbi Moshe Levinger, a Jewish settler, opened fire on about 30 Palestinians who stoned his car in downtown Hebron.
In a separate incident in Hebron, an army patrol opened fire on masked Palestinian youths who pelted them with stones, Israel radio said. It reported one Arab was killed.
