Citing the benefits of an expanded sales force, Pancretec, a manufacturer of portable drug infusion pumps, reported a dramatic improvement in profit and sales for the fourth quarter and full year ended June 30.
For the three months ended June 30, the company posted a profit of $238,835 on sales of $1.9 million, contrasted with a loss of $242,210 on sales of $853,821 in the corresponding quarter the previous year.
For the full fiscal year, Pancretec’s profit was $302,034 on sales of $5.96 million, up from a loss of $932,357 on sales of $2.9 million during fiscal 1987. Pancretec stock closed down 25 cents, at $6.125 a share in over-the-counter trading Wednesday.
