A 14-year-old boy was in stable condition Tuesday at Children’s Hospital after suffering a gunshot wound in the back during a drive-by shooting.
Baldo Quezada told police that he was standing in the 2000 block of National Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Monday when he heard a gunshot and was struck in the back with a bullet. He was rushed to San Diego Physicians & Surgeons Hospital, where he was treated before being transferred to Children’s Hospital.
No one has been arrested.
