The mother of right wing Marty McSorley of the Kings died Friday in Ontario after a long illness. Three of McSorley’s teammates--Wayne Gretzky and Mike Krushelnyski, both of whom played with McSorley in Edmonton, and captain Dave Taylor--left the team in Winnipeg to attend funeral services Monday in Cayuga, Ontario. They will miss tonight’s exhibition against the Jets.
