Mine Spotted in Gulf

MANAMA, Bahrain — A Kuwaiti naval vessel spotted a mine in the Persian Gulf, the first such report since the cease-fire in the Iran-Iraq War went into effect late last month, the London-based Lloyd’s Shipping Intelligence Unit said. Shipping was not affected.
