Two dogs running across Interstate 805 triggered an accident in which two motorists died.
When a driver hit the dogs near L Street Friday morning, his car stalled. A second car slammed into the rear of the stalled car, authorities said.
The driver of the car that hit the dogs was identified as Minh To, 26, of San Diego. The other victim was identified as Alvaro Macias, 73, of National City. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
