KCET Channel 28 reported Wednesday that its recent on-air fund-raising campaign produced pledges of $916,392 from 18,379 viewers. The public-TV station said those were its second-best results ever for an August pledge drive, topped only by last year’s $1.1 million. The 12-day subscription drive concluded Sunday night.
