Work Begun on Marina Hotel
Ground has been broken for the $45-million Ritz-Carlton Hotel on its 5.5-acre site at 4333 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey.
The 308-room hotel, whose parent company is the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., Atlanta, is scheduled to open in spring, 1990.
Psomas & Associates, Costa Mesa, obtained the development permit from the California Coastal Commission. Nathan Evans Pounders & Taylor, Memphis, is the architect and Stolte Inc., Los Angeles, is the contractor.
