Quik Pix Inc. reported that net earnings for its third quarter ended June 30 declined 52% to $25,199 from $52,085 for the third quarter last year. Sales for the three-month period rose 1% to $642,949 from $634,708. The Buena Park-based company attributed the earnings decrease to higher selling, general and administrative expenses. For the nine months, net income rose to $118,876 from $5,295 for the year-ago period. Sales for the period increased 8% to $1.9 million from $1.7 million for the first nine months of fiscal 1987. Quik Pix provides photographic products and services to commercial customers in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Washington, Oregon and Hawaii.
