Boone Named to Junior National Volleyball Team

Brian Boone of Edison High School has been selected to the Junior National Volleyball team.
Boone, a first-team All-American at the Junior Olympics in Fort Collins, Colo., two weeks ago, was the only Orange County player named to the 12-player team.

Doug Morland, a 6-foot 5-inch middle blocker who graduated from Dana Hills High School this year, has been selected to the Junior National Volleyball team, which will compete in Colorado next week. His name was not included in a story on the team in The Times on Tuesday.
The team, sponsored by the United States Volleyball Assn., will compete in Colorado next week.
Boone, a 6-foot 5-inch middle blocker, will attend UCLA in the fall.
