More Southern California property was sold for more money last month than in any month since December, 1986, according to this month’s reports from TRW Real Estate Market Information. A total of 61,438 properties changed hands in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino counties last month, up 17.6% from May and up 9.5% compared to June, 1987. The amount borrowed to buy the property was up 24.8% from May to $6.6 billion.
