Local News in Brief : Brea : Damages Put at $75,000 in Beauty Salon Blaze

An early-morning fire Tuesday caused more than $75,000 in damages to the Upstairs Downstairs beauty salon and its contents, according to Brea Fire Battalion Chief Joe Roguski.
Three fire engines responded to the blaze at 420 S. Brea Blvd. after receiving the call at 1:15 a.m., he said.
The shop and contents are valued at $300,000, according to Roguski. The blaze was confined mostly to the lobby area.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Roguski said.
