Local News in Brief : PCP Suspect Dies in Jail
A man arrested for possession of PCP died early Monday at Los Angeles County’s East Los Angeles jail after a seizure that may have been a heart attack, police said.
Norbert Martinez, 27, suffered the attack less than two hours after being booked, said Deputy Van Mosley.
He was taken to Santa Marta Hospital, where he was pronounced dead 16 minutes later, Mosley said. An autopsy was pending.
