Heidi Miller, president of Heidi’s Frogen Yozurt Shoppe in Laguna Hills, will be the main speaker at the first dinner meeting of the Orange County Venture Forum, a network aimed at bringing entrepreneurs together with venture capitalists. The event, which starts at 5:30 p.m. today at the Red Lion Inn in Costa Mesa, also marks the group’s new affiliation with UC Irvine’s Graduate School of Management. Tickets are available at the door for $20 a seat. Miller will be part of a panel that also consists of Don Callender, founder of Marie Callender’s Pie Shoppe; Michael Granat of Amtrade; Stephen Holmes, an accountant with the firm of Arthur Andersen; Peter Shea, chairman of Entrepreneur magazine; Marc Tow, a Newport Beach lawyer, and Robert Bordwell, regional vice president of Tokai Bank.
