Sonora, Buena Park Name New Coaches in Boys’ Basketball

Phillip Henderson was named the Sonora High School boys’ basketball coach Thursday, replacing Paul Bottiaux, who resigned.
Henderson, a graduate of Cal State Fullerton, was an assistant coach at Brea-Olinda the past four seasons.
Edward Matillo has been named the new basketball coach at Buena Park.
Matillo, a Buena Park graduate, was an assistant at Santa Ana last season. He replaces Ken Bell, who resigned after 19 seasons.
