Ventura Freeway Exit to Be Closed 6 Weeks
- Share via
Beginning Monday, the westbound off-ramp of the Ventura Freeway at Valley Circle Boulevard will be closed for six weeks, the state Department of Transportation has announced.
The closure is part of the three-year Ventura Freeway improvement project, which began in February.
Previous ramp closings for the project were limited to a few hours or days, Caltrans officials said.
Richard Kermode, Caltrans senior resident engineer on the project, said nearby westbound off-ramps that will remain open are at Shoup and Woodlake avenues and at Parkway Calabasas.
Leonora Drive, which is being widened to four lanes, will remain open to traffic, Kermode said.
