Le and Choi Sweep Their Doubles Matches as Buena Park Beats Rowland in Badminton

Tu Le and Juhee Choi swept their doubles matches as second-seeded Buena Park High School defeated Rowland, 17-2, in a Southern Section 4-A badminton match at Buena Park.

Le and Choi defeated Esther Pata and Karmen Ko, 15-7, 15-5. They then routed Thu Nguyen and Alice Jang, 15-1, 15-2.

Buena Park is 17-0.

Garden Grove 13, Fountain Valley 6--Phi Ta and Binh Tran swept their boys’ matches at No. 1 doubles to run their season record to 45-0. Garden Grove is 14-2.
