The South Coast Insurance Assn., a year-old trade organization that helps businesswomen in the insurance industry, has become affiliated with the National Assn. of Insurance Women International.
With 25 dues-paying members so far, South Coast Insurance is trying to attract male as well as female members in the south county to its Irvine meetings. The group was formed mainly because the primary trade group, the Insurance Women of Orange County, is based in Anaheim, which is too far away for south county workers, said Toni Rogers, vice president of the South Coast group.
