Buena Park Is Seeded Third in 4-A Badminton Playoffs
Buena Park High School, the Southern Section 4-A runner-up last year, is seeded third in the 4-A badminton playoff pairings announced Monday.
The Coyotes, who were beaten by Colton, 14-5, in last season’s championship match, will play the winner of the Rowland-Costa Mesa wild-card game in the first round Thursday at 3:15 p.m.
In other 4-A games involving Orange County schools Thursday:
Diamond Bar-Riverside Poly wild-card winner at Estancia; Fountain Valley at Garden Grove; Troy at Colton; Palm Springs at Saddleback, and Alhambra at Westminster.
In 4-A wild-card games Tuesday:
Santiago at La Habra; Huntington Beach at Kennedy, and Rowland at Costa Mesa.
In 3-A games:
Magnolia at Covina; Long Beach Wilson-Azusa wild-card winner at Katella, and Loara at West Covina.
