Prince’s concert film--which he also directed--boils with his special mixture of sensuality and delicacy, fire and ice. Shot in Rotterdam and Antwerp, using smokily colorful backdrops and slithering, hot camera movements that recall Scorsese’s “The Last Waltz,” Prince records some exceptional live music--backed by drummer Sheila E. and a band that proves equally adept at funk and a Charlie Parker jam. It’s a wild, lyrical show.
