Funeral Is Today for Thomas Dolan

Services will be held today in Northern California for Thomas E. Dolan, executive director of the Orange County Consolidated Transportation Service Agency--a nonprofit bus system for the elderly and physically handicapped.
Dolan died of cancer Monday at his home in Santa Ana. He was 62.
A veteran of 45 years in the mass-transit industry, Dolan took over the bus program for the elderly and handicapped in 1983. Before that, he had been assistant general manager of the Denver Regional Transportation District.
Dolan began his career as a streetcar operator in San Francisco and rose to become general manager of the San Francisco Municipal Railway before going to Denver.
He is survived by his wife, LaVerne, and eight children.
Services will be held at Mt. Tamalpais Memorial Park & Mortuary in San Rafael.
