Gill Heads Group of 5 Northridge Recruits
Cal State Northridge announced the signing Monday of five track and volleyball athletes, including Alemany High’s Lisa Gill, the defending triple jump champion in the Southern Section 1-A Division.
CSUN also signed Arroyo’s Jeff Gilkey, who placed sixth in last year’s state Division I cross-country championships.
Elizabeth Darcey, sister of Division II All-American outside hitter Sue Darcey, was one of three volleyball players to sign with CSUN. Darcey (6-3) is an outside hitter from Chatsworth. Also signing were Melanie Mariano, a 5-6 setter from Chabot College, and Keira Middleton, a 5-10 outside hitter from Santa Barbara City College.
