Westwood One and Emmis Broadcasting signed a letter of intent under which radio station WYNY-FM in New York would be acquired by Westwood One for $39 million. The station’s present call letters and country format would remain, the companies said. The agreement is subject to Federal Communications Commission and other regulatory approvals.
