12 Students Dropped From Campus Patrol After Thefts

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Twelve University of Illinois students have been dropped from the student campus patrol and two of them face criminal charges of stealing from the offices they were assigned to protect. Not all 12 were involved in crimes, but some knew of them and did not inform supervisors, university Police Chief Paul Dollins said.
