El Dorado Keeps No. 1 Poll Spot

El Dorado High School, with four first-place votes, retained the top ranking in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep baseball poll.
Second-ranked Los Alamitos earned two first-place votes and was three points behind El Dorado. The teams will play a home-and-home series beginning Wednesday at El Dorado and ending Friday at Los Alamitos. Both games begin at 3:15 p.m.
