Alonzo Mourning of Chesapeake, Va., who is headed for Georgetown, scored 16 points and Billy Owens of Carlisle, Pa., headed for Syracuse, had 14 as the East scored a 105-99 victory over the West in the McDonald’s all-star high school basketball game at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Shawn Kemp of Elkhart, Ind., led the West with 18 points. Kemp is bound for Kentucky. Fairfax’s Chris Mills had 12 points for the West.
