Local News in Brief : Anaheim : 1 Dead, 1 Badly Injured in Freeway Collision

One man was killed and another seriously injured in a two-car collision early Sunday on the Santa Ana Freeway in Anaheim, north of Lincoln Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The CHP said the fatally injured man was Jose Luis Nava Diaz, 21, of Santa Ana. Another man in the same car, identified as Jose Orozco, 19, of Santa Ana, suffered major injuries and was taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, the CHP said.
The driver of the other car, whose name was not immediately released, suffered minor injuries, according to the CHP.
The crash between the two cars occurred at 1:20 a.m. Sunday. The highway patrol said late Sunday night it had no details of the accident’s cause or circumstances.
