Entering the final week of regular-season play, the Lakers have a big road game with the Houston Rockets Sunday.
It’s big because the world champion Lakers are struggling to maintain a slim lead over the Boston Celtics with pro basketball’s best record, which would give them home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.
CBS will carry the Lakers-Rockets game Sunday at 10 a.m., with final-round play in golf’s Heritage Tournament following at 12:30 p.m. (2)(8).
The California Angels, also on the road, play the Seattle Mariners at the Kingdome tonight at 7 and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. (5).
In the second game of NBC’s baseball double-header today, the Dodgers host the Atlanta Braves at 1 p.m. (4)(36)(39).
