‘Latent Image’
Chile, 1987, 92 minutes , 10:15 p.m. A young man grapples with the presumed death of his brother a decade after the fall of Allende. Film maker Pablo Perelman creates a complex narrative that requires a road map to decipher as his protagonist ferrets through memorabilia and encounters witnesses to a bygone era. The character’s fear of resolution permeates the story to regrettable consequence.
