How to Sell Bruce
I finally have something to laugh about concerning the fiasco over the sale of Bruce Springsteen concert tickets.
Brian Murphy’s justifying the 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon radio announcements on eight radio stations as reaching “real” Springsteen fans, is a joke.
Real fans are in their 30s and 40s and grew up with his music; real fans are at their jobs and can’t leave; real fans don’t always have access to a radio at work; real fans don’t riot when given advance notice of ticket sales; all real Springsteen fans want is a fair chance at buying his concert tickets.
