One man was shot to death, another was stabbed and a third was beaten in a brawl in a Pacoima bar early Tuesday, Los Angeles police said.
The cause of the fight, which started about midnight Monday at the Early Times bar in 10400 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, is under investigation, police said. Pool cues, a knife and a gun were used in the fracas, in which five people may have been involved, police said.
A 27-year-old Pacoima man was shot to death in the bar. The men involved in the fight fled, police said. A short while later, two of the men entered the emergency room of Pacifica Hospital in Sun Valley, one suffering stab wounds in the chest and the other suffering head injuries, police said.
Police declined to identify the dead man until his family is notified and did not release the names of the injured, who were in critical but stable condition. No one has been arrested and police said no suspects have been identified.
