Exxon Co. USA said it will swap 90 of its West Coast service stations for 92 Texaco stations, a transaction that will leave San Diego, San Bernardino and Riverside counties; Las Vegas; Vancouver, Wash., and Portland, Ore., without the Exxon brand. Most of the Texaco stations that will now fly the Exxon flag are in the San Francisco area. Exxon said it is withdrawing from areas where its “supply logistics are not fully competitive” while more efficiently using the products from its Bay Area refinery.
