Opposes Paying for Immigrants’ Support
Your article on the Armenian immigrants’ housing problems (March 20) has my blood pressure boiling. We can’t even provide low-cost housing for our own senior “citizens,” and we taxpayers again have to foot the bill to support other countries’ surplus populations.
It seems that huge numbers of immigrants are being brought into our state with no concern about overcrowding, pollution or crime increase.
If the Armenian community, or any other ethnic group, wants their loved ones to relocate to California from their homeland, then they should be totally responsible for their financial assistance.
