The only wildlife rehabilitation center licensed to care for injured or sick animals in Orange County will close Friday. The Anaheim animal care facility, operated by the North Orange County Regional Occupation Program at an annual cost of $160,000, is being phased out because of state funding cutbacks. The center may reopen as a private undertaking if financing can be found.
