Landlord Seeks to Evict Preppy Killer’s Mother

NEW YORK — A landlord is seeking to evict the mother of preppy killer Robert Chambers, 21, who pleaded guilty in a Central Park sex killing, from her $2,376-a-month luxury apartment for nonpayment of rent, court papers revealed today.
The papers, filed in Manhattan Civil Court, show that the landlord, 11 East 99th Associates, claims Mary Chambers failed to pay rent from August through February and owes $16,733. A night nurse who makes about $70,000 a year caring for an elderly wealthy patient, Mary Chambers countersued on Thursday.
