Duarte : Work Started on Park
The city has begun work on Aloysia Moore Park on the south side of Duarte Road between Broadland and Delford avenues. The park, slightly less than an acre, will include playground equipment and picnicking areas. It is scheduled for completion before the summer.
The park is named in honor of Aloysia Moore, who served on the City Council from 1960 to 1966 and in recent years has been active in the Duarte Historical Society.
